Wushu Punch Slot Review

Wushu Punch is a new online casino game launched by Playtech. If you’re a fan of Asian culture or martial arts, you should check this one out! Its theme is focused on the most famous ancient fighting technique, Wushu, to most of us known as Kung Fu.

The game, however, takes a modern spin on this 4,000-year-old tradition, placing it in the context of a modern city, with its buildings shown in the background. If you’re not a big Kung Fu fan, you should still keep reading. The designers of the game made sure it could be entertaining for almost everyone!

If you’re looking for a casino game with an innovative and exciting design and excellent graphics, look no further! The setting is based on a futuristic city, shown in the background image, which can change into the gates of an ancient temple if the free spins feature is activated.

Wushu Punch is a slot game with a 5x3 reel grid and 20 paylines. Players can potentially uncover 4 fixed jackpots, including the most attractive one - the Grand, where you can potentially win a payout of 2,000x your stake!

The RTP rate for Wushu Punch is 95.99%, which is average for the industry. In this slot game, you can find Wilds and a Free Spins feature, as well as a Strike and Spin bonus feature.

Wushu Punch Bonus Features & Jackpots

Wushu Punch features three special symbols: Wilds, Yin Yang Scatters, and the Framed Martial Artist.

  • The Wilds: show up as big green gemstones in the claws of a golden dragon. They can only land on reels: 2, 3, and 4, and they don’t come with any payouts. They can be very useful, however, as they can substitute any symbol other than the Yin Yang scatter or Framed Martial Artist.
  • The Yin Yang symbol: showing up on at least 3 reels simultaneously triggers the extra spins feature, where 10 bonus spins are awarded. These will be played on a special set of reels, which excludes any of the lowest value symbols (A-J). You can also score an extra 10 free spins by landing 3 or more additional Yin Yang symbols during the bonus games round.
  • The Framed Martial Artist symbol: shows up as a symbol of a woman in two possible variants - gold and red-framed. This one can be a slightly more complex symbol. To activate these symbols, you need to land 3 or more on adjacent reels, from left to right.

Then, if you manage to land 3 matching symbols, you will be awarded a random prize for each of the first 3 reels. If you land 4 matching gold or red-framed symbols, you will be awarded a random prize for each of the first 4 reels.

The red-framed ones can award anything between 1x up to 8x your stake. The golden-framed ones could win you anything from 10x up to 500x your bet (Mini, Minor or Major jackpot).

If you find the Framed Martial Artist symbol on all 5 reels, you will activate the Strike and Spin feature. In this one, each symbol that triggered the feature will reveal a random prize. This will then be shown in the meter at the bottom and will also be added to the meter above the reels.

You will then be awarded 3 respins. During each respin, the only symbol is the stacked gold martial artist. If this symbol lands on a reel, covering all positions, all 5 prizes will be added to the meter. If a stacked gold framed artist lands on a reel during a respin, your respins will be reset to 3, and the symbol will be locked in position for the rest of the feature.

If the gold-framed martial artist lands on all 5 reels, there will be 3 special respins, where only the middle reels will spin. If the gold-framed symbol lands during these, the Grand Jackpot amount will be added to the meter.
