Irish Luck Casino Game

Irish Luck is a five reel, 25 paylines casino game by Eyecon. Irish Luck has Wild, Bonus symbol, Bonus game, Free Spins, Multiplier, and Gamble features, and an RTP of 95%. Kong Casino is the best place to play Irish Luck and is also where you’ll find in excess of 700 other leading UK casino games including Fluffy Favourites, Starburst, Rainbow Riches, and Mighty Kong.

Casino Site With Irish Luck

If your favourite genre of casino game is the Irish theme, then you'll never be short of options to try. It's one of the most-visited themes of all the regular ones that developers and providers tend to use and is still frequently seen in brand new releases. Eyecon's Irish Luck isn't a brand new release, but as is usually the case with Eyecon, it's a solidly-built casino game, and it has a lot going for it.

The problem all developers face when they release something new into the Irish theme is that they’re going to be compared to Barcrest’s Rainbow Riches games, which are the best-known on the market, and tend to dominate everything else. Irish Luck has several things in common with Rainbow Riches - some of which are inevitable given the connection to Ireland - but there’s enough uniqueness here to mark it out as being a worthy game in its own right.

In the interests of being transparent and avoiding confusion, we should draw attention to the fact that this casino game doesn’t have a unique name. There is another - and quite similar - casino game with the name of Irish Luck. That one is made by Playson. It’s the Eyecon game that we’re reviewing here, and it’s the Eyecon game which we offer at Kong Casino. The Eyecon game is also generally better thought-of, so you’re not getting the short end of the deal!

Visually, Irish Luck belongs to the exact same Irish fantasy land as Rainbow Riches. It’s definitely the same green and verdant Ireland, and the over-the-top bold colors and cartoon-style graphics are a match, too. There’s even a rainbow in the sky! Turning our attention to the reels, we’ll find that Irish stereotypes arrive by the boatload. The least valuable symbols are shiny gold coins, and pints of Irish stout (although anyone who thinks Guinness isn’t worth much obviously hasn’t bought a pint in Dublin recently). Above them are toadstools, castles, rainbows, pots of gold, and a money tree which has gold coins in its branches.

There are a fair few bonus symbols to take into account here, too! The first is the wild, which is a lucky four-leaf clover, and replaces all base game symbols to complete winning lines. The next five bonus symbols are all letters, and when they're put together, they spell out the word 'IRISH.' Spell out the full word from left to right on one spin, and your reward is 3000x your stake.

Completing our set of symbols is another pair of bonuses; a fairy and a leprechaun. Each one provides access to a different bonus feature - so this would be an appropriate place to start talking about them.

Irish Luck Bonus Round

There's already a big stack of cash to play for in the base game by spelling out 'IRISH,' but Irish Luck still has a couple of bonus features to add even more depth.

The first of them, which is a Prize Pick, is triggered by the leprechaun bonus symbol. You need three of them on the same spin to get into it, and when you do, it happens on a new screen. You'll be faced with a series of identical symbols, behind which will be hiding either a leprechaun or a fairy. The number of picks you get to make depends on how many of the bonus symbols you triggered the round with; so if you get the minimum of three, you'll get three choices, with four for four, and five for five. Each fairy you find will give you a multiplier against your stake, payable immediately. Every leprechaun is worth ten free spins. When you're out of picks, the Free Spins feature will begin (so long as you found at least one leprechaun). Any winnings you find during your free spins are worth double their base game value.

If you land a trio or more of the fairy bonus symbol, you’ll get to play a game called Match and Win instead. This is another prize pick feature in all but name. You’re once again taken to a new screen, and this time you’re selecting different clovers to find out what’s behind them. Here’s a spoiler:- They’re all multipliers! When you’ve found two matching multipliers, the multiplier shown will be awarded against your stake, and the feature is over. The best prize on offer here is 100x your stake.

As is common in Eyecon’s UK casino games, there’s a Gamble Feature here, too. You may be offered the chance at a gamble any time you win something. Take it, and you’ll be presented with a choice of two items. A correct selection will double whatever you just one. Get it wrong, though, and your winnings are lost forever. That’s the nature of the beast!

The Prize Pick feature is a particular delight, because it gives you instant cash prizes and free spins feature at the same time. Irish Luck is a great casino game and a strong contender for the Rainbow Riches crown.

Irish Luck Developer

Any time you come across a casino game which has slightly cute, cartoon-inspired graphics, a free spins feature, and a double or nothing gamble feature, chance are you're looking at the work of Eyecon. The Australian provider sometimes works to a template when they're putting their casino games together, but on other occasions, as with Irish Luck, they'll go a step forward and gives us a few extra bonus features into the bargain.

Eyecon's range of UK casino games is so popular that during 2018, they were played in excess of six billion times. That's an almost unimaginable figure and works out at thousands of spins every minute of every day. We suspect most of those spins will have happened on one of their Fluffy Favourites series of casino games, which they're best known for. The first of the stuffed-toy themed games came out in 2006 and charmed the world, proving that just because a theme isn't conventional doesn't mean it can't become wildly popular. They've come a long way from their early days in 1997 when they were more interested in making video games than casino games. We should all feel lucky that they decided to make that change!
